• Benefits may be paid based on your inability to perform the substantial and material duties of your regular occupation while under a doctor’s care.

• Benefits may be provided to help cover the salary of a replacement for you to run your business while you’re disabled.

• There’s no “use it or lose it” provision. The accumulation benefit lets you apply unused benefits to the next month’s expenses and use one month’s excess expenses to generate a higher benefit payment in another month of the same period of total disability.

• When you’re ready to return to work, the policy's recovery benefit eases you back with a lump sum payment. This payment can help as you rebuild your business.

• If, down the road, you no longer have overhead expenses, you may be able to convert your BOE policy to a disability income insurance policy that can provide you with personal disability
